TWENTY PIECE CHALLENGE 

The new "20 Piece Challenge"  is well underway. The googleform to download and fill up as you learn and master your selected music is here.   The challenge ends on 25 June 2023.  The whole idea of the challenge is to get our students motivated to learn and play as widely as possible.  Remember learning music is like learning a language.  When learning a language one needs to read widely to gain a broad vocabulary and a good command of the language. Similarly in learning to play music, one needs to explore and experience a rich body of repertoire to build  musical skills including sight reading skills.

Playing more music also builds a body of general knowledge in different genres of music. This would in turn enhance further interest and appreciation of music.  Hence it is  definitely a win win practice to get into!
