Greater Western Region Volleyball and Basketball

Last Thursday and Friday our year 7 and 8 students joined forces with some Balmoral students to compete in the Greater Western Region competition for both Volleyball and Basketball. Both boys and girls teams for the volleyball played out some fantastic rally points with most sets going neck and neck.

Our basketball teams down in Ballarat had some tough opponents but gave them run for their money. The girls gelled beautifully by the end of the day and the boys were shooting 3-pointers every few minutes. A huge thank you to Bec Carter for coaching the basketball teams.

Across all the sport played our students represented the College with pride and excellent sportsmanship which they should be commended for. Well done Swans!
