Funding Survey
The P&C makes a significant contribution to improving the educational experience of our children by raising funds for additional resources and equipment at our school. In 2019, the P&C along with the school coordinated the fundraising and installation of the senior climbing frame.
The P&C aids in raising community spirit by providing fun events for the children and their families to look forward to, such as Harmony Day, School Discos, Quiz Nights, Mother’s and Father’s day stalls, and much more.
The P&C also manages the School Canteen, Scholastic Book Club, and the Pre-loved Uniform Shop.
Understandably, not everyone can get to a P&C meeting. For this reason, we are asking you to complete a very short survey so that we can better gauge how the school community would like to see P&C money spent in 2021.

Special Lunch Order and Icy Pole Fundraiser Friday 14th May
The Burrendah Primary School P&C will be opening its canteen for a special lunch order on Friday 14th May. All funds raised will go towards the large Tornado swing for the senior playground. Thank you for your support!

The P&C canteen menu and prices are below. All orders are to be placed online (sorry, no cash orders) at www.quickcliq.com.au by 9am Tuesday 11th May. Unfortunately, we are unable to take orders after this date.

Buy an icy pole on Friday 14th May
The P&C will also be selling icy poles (99% fruit juice) from the canteen. These will be available after the second lunch bell for $1 each. No pre-ordering required!
Save the Date
The P&C will be hosting a Quiz Night Fundraiser on Friday the 18th of June at the Willetton Sports Club. Please mark the date in your diaries and keep an eye out for the announcement of ticket sales.
Gilbert's Fresh Market SOS Program
Supporting Burrendah Primary School P&C is as easy as doing your shopping!
Burrendah is part of Gilbert's Fresh Market Support our Schools (SOS) Program. The SOS Program donates 1% of customers’ spend to their nominated school, to use on whatever the school chooses.
How to join?
Joining is simple. Just ask to sign up in-store (at the checkout) and nominate Burrendah Primary School as your chosen school. You will receive a card that is scanned each time you shop at Gilbert's. It’s that easy!
Who can join?
The SOS program is for anyone who would like to support our school - parents, teachers, family, and friends.
VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED FOR P&C EVENTS!
Throughout the year, the P&C will be running various fundraisers and events to raise money for our school, which enhances our children's education experience and creates happy memories of their time at primary school.
Understandably, not everyone can get to the P&C meetings and don't have the capacity to hold a role within the P&C. HOWEVER, there are still ways you can help!
We have set up a WhatsApp group called: 'P&C Volunteers 2021!' We are using this group to reach out to the wider school community at times when the P&C Committee simply cannot provide all the people required to successfully run an event.
If you are interested in assisting on an ad-hoc basis, all you need to do is send an email to burrendahpc@gmail.com. You will receive a reply email with a link to the 'P&C Volunteers 2021!" WhatsApp group.
