ART

Year 9 Digital Art classes have been involved in learning Adobe Illustrator to create Vector landscapes. As you may know Illustrator is a vector based program used by professional designers because of the ability to increase the file size to as large as required without pixilation occurring as it can in Adobe Photoshop.

The students have created a series of landscapes learning to use various tools and create depth. They have also learnt about the Elements and Principles of Design, applying these for the best results in composition and colour themes. They have also learnt how to create a ‘paper cut-out effect’ which when applied to digital landscapes is simple but effective and eye-catching.
