A Snapshot of Learning by Year 5
On Friday the 12th of March the Year Five students travelled to Mentone Beach to take part in a Surf Lifesaving Program. The program was run by Life Saving Victoria and involved a two hour session with trained staff. This wonderful program is part of the Outdoor Education program at St Simon’s.
The students had a fun filled day and learnt lots of new water skills. A huge thank you to Mr Karl Camerino, Ms Carly Barca, Mrs Louisa Pontin-Raj, Ms Sharni Spriggs and Ms Sarah Barbanti for organising such a wonderful experience.
Here are some photos of the day.
