Student of the Week

Congratulations to the following students who were awarded Student of the Week over the last two weeks.  

 

*Prep A

 Dreyden W - You are doing a great job with all your work Dreyden. It has been fantastic seeing you be more willing to have a go at all your work. You can do it. Be proud of all your efforts Dreyden, especially your basketball skills at recess time. 

Chloe M - You are doing a super job with your school work Chloe. You are giving everything your personal best and I really like the way you help your classmates and myself. Excellent effort Chloe, you are a STAR.  

 

*Prep B -  

Kaysha W- The fantastic way you settled into learning each day. You try your best and have a good go at every activity. It is great to see you trying hard with your writing and writing down the sounds you can hear. Well done Kaysha.

Charlotte R. - being a super learner in the Prep room. You are kind and helpful to everyone. It has been fantastic to see your writing improving. You always have a smile on your face and have a positive attitude. Fantastic work Charlotte. 

 

*1/2A -    

Wesley T - for a fantastic start to Term 2. You are a kind and caring class member and will always help others. Keep up the wonderful work Wesley!

Billie J - for a great start to Term 2. It has been wonderful to see your confidence shine and see you put your hand up to answer questions and tell us your ideas. Well done Billie!

 

*1/2B -  

Kiara D - You have been doing a fantastic job with your writing lately. You have increased your writing stamina and you are making a great effort to sound out words. Well done Kiara. 

Ruby B - For your positive attitude towards your learning. You are enthusiastic to learn and always demonstrate our school values. Well done Ruby. 

 

*1/2C 

D’Marcus T - I have absolutely loved your passion to challenge yourself this week to ‘discover’ more with your own learning. You have demonstrated some great deep thinking and I love that you ponder, then pose questions to get us all thinking. You are a great role model for 1/2C. Keep shining bright!

Indi T - What a great start to Term 2 you have had. I was impressed with your positive attitude when we started addition this week and how you really applied what you knew about adding numbers to the learning tasks. Superb effort, keep it up!

 

*3/4A -   

Jack R - Jack your enthusiasm towards your learning is second to none. Whenever we scan the room for a response, you are always willing to contribute to classroom discussion. Well done Jack.

Lexi E - for the improvements you are making in your handwriting and the effort to involve yourself in class discussion. It is wonderful to hear you sharing your thoughts across all curriculum areas. Well done Lexi!

 

*3/4B -  

Ashton F - for using an effective strategy in maths to work out our ’60 wheels in the carpark’ problem. Ashton your problem solving was efficient and justified when asked how you did it. Well done on challenging yourself to find multiple answers. Keep up the great work! 

Tyson M - for an expressive and engaging narrative. Tyson your use of language when writing ‘The Magic Stick’ was compelling and provided a clear image of the setting, characters and their traits. Keep up the great writing! 

 

*3/4C -     

Ace R - for a great start back at school this term. Ace, it has been wonderful to see the effort you have put into all your work since returning from holidays. Keep up the great work this term!

Charli Fulton for a great start back at school this term. Charli it has been awesome to see you so engaged in your maths work. The passion you put in to everything you do is fantastic. Keep up the great work this term!

 

*5/6A -  

Harlem M - for working really hard to complete all set tasks given to him. You have had a fabulous week settling back in after the holidays. Great Work!

Evie M - For continually displaying a positive attitude towards learning. You are a respectful, kind and caring member of our classroom and always look to improve your skills. Well done!

 

*5/6B -   

Mayah B – You have made a great start to term 2. It is also great to see your efforts in completing set tasks even when they are challenging. Keep up the great work!

Ricky DR - Ricky you have made an excellent start to the new term. It is also great to see the effort you are putting into all your work. Keep up the great work Ricky!

 

*5/6C -  

Sophie Mc - For making a fabulous start to Term 2. You have a positive attitude and always tackle every task with amazing effort, continually striving to do your best. Great work Sophie, keep it up.

Trent W - For making an excellent start to term 2. It is great to see you having a go at all set tasks even when you think they are challenging. It has been impressive to watch your enthusiasm during writing. Well done Trent, keep up the good work.

Tilly B - Tilly is a pleasure to have in our class. You give your best effort to each task and take on all challenges. It has been great to watch you grow in confidence. Keep up the great work Tilly! 

Jack M - Jack it is great to see you showing such enthusiasm and confidence in Maths. You are taking challenges head on and working extremely hard. It has been especially pleasing to watch you work cooperatively with your peers and share your knowledge. well done Jack!

 

*Art with Mrs Horkings -   

Xave B - 5/6 A - For your next level Anzac artwork but most importantly for your brilliant attitude in the art room. You have a positive 

 

 

outlook that inspires those around you. Xave, you are a pleasure to teach! Thank you!

Rhianne Gualvez -1/2 C - For always putting in thought and consideration into your artwork. You use your creativity to make great choices with your art and it shows! Keep up the amazing work Rhianne!

Aiden C 5/6D - Well done Aiden on your consistent positive attitude towards your learning. While being competitive, you demonstrated sportsmanship and fairness in all games and activities during PE.

 

Jaida 5/6A - Jaida, Well done on your excellent display of resilience during PE. Your perseverance in a challenging situation was encouraging for not only yourself but your teammates as well.

Tyrell W - 3 /4 C - For great sportsmanship during our warm up game. Tyrell, you used encouraging words to motivate other students to do their best. Well done!

Leo M - Prep A - For a wonderful ‘you can do it’ attitude during PE. Leo, you always give everything your best, even when attempting something new. Keep it up!
