PRINCIPAL

Mr. David Browne (Principal) continues to be on leave and I remain the Acting Principal. Mrs. Kate Archibald continues in the role of Acting Assistant Principal while Mrs. Kylie Morrish (Assistant Principal) remains on leave. I want to share this with you all so you know who to contact if you have any concerns, especially relating to facilities and staff. 

Mrs. Narelle Calder (Senior School) and Mr. Bradley Vallance (Junior School) are the Sub-School Co-ordinators specialising in support for students. If you have any concerns for your child, please contact Brad or Narelle. 

At the beginning of term the College Annual General Meeting was held, declaring all positions and appointing office bearers. I am pleased to announce:

This week our college opened to the community providing new and prospective families an opportunity to view our wonderful facilities. Many students helped by providing guided tours and assisting staff with setting up spaces. Thank you to these students and staff for supporting this event. 

Next Monday (May 10) is a Pupil Free Day. Classes will not run for the day and students do not come to school. Staff will use the day to work through the engagement and learning model. 

The National Assessment Program of Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) begins next week. Students in year 7 and 9 will take part in the program, accessing NAPLAN Online across the next two weeks. Catch-up days are scheduled for students absent. Students can prepare themselves by viewing the demo site, bringing headphones, bottle of water and getting a good rest the night before. https://www.nap.edu.au/online-assessment/public-demonstration-site
