Choose To Challenge

Over a delicious morning tea, Year 12 student presenters asked various female members in our school community to challenge adversity and other issues women face in our society.

The Cecil Hills High School International Women’s Day Breakfast for 2021 followed the theme of #ChooseToChallenge

The message that together, we as young women have the strength, the power and a voice to challenge what we see as injustice. This important message was delivered by this year’s guest speaker, Ms Kathy Kelly.  With the hope of protecting young people in the community and encouraging kindness in all aspects of life, Ms Kelly founded the Stay Kind Foundation after losing her two sons in tragic circumstances.  Ms Kelly created a video that was played for the guests to inspire women to challenge themselves and  end to spread kindness in their community.
