Maroondah Youth Awards 2021 

The Maroondah Youth Awards is an evening that celebrates the commitments and achievements of young people aged between 10-25 in Maroondah. Each year, an annual Youth Awards ceremony is held to formally acknowledge amazing individuals and groups within the community, recognising Creativity, Leadership, Perseverance, and Teamwork. 

At this years ceremony, our 2020 College Captain Lachlan Kennedy did a speech, while a number of our students were presented with the Teamwork Award for their incredible contribution to the We Know Your Name But Not Your Story documentary. 

We Know Your Name But Not Your Story was a mini documentary featuring the stories of 10 diverse young people in Maroondah. Story Tellers were interviewed & filmed by Story Capturers, sharing a small insight into their lives as a young person. 

The students were awarded for their creativity, bravery, appreciation of beauty, excellence, perspective, and sense of hope. Congratulations to the below students:
