The 6-8 Partnerships for the Future classroom has continued on with their Wholesome Habits PBL theme from last term. 

 

Last term's unit of work had students explore the benefits of healthy eating by preparing nutritious meals which consisted of carbs, protein and healthy fats, as well as looking at the benefits that physical activity has on our own emotional wellbeing. 

 

This term we are exploring this space in more detail where the students are exploring the different types of activities that have them demonstrating 'mindful' techniques and ongoing opportunities for self-regulation. 

 

The end goal for our students is to invite and lead such activities (board games), to members of our community.
