As we begin Term 3, the Sports Department look forward to the opportunities on offer for our students from Year 7 to Year 12.

One opportunity presented to our female footballers already this term was an Adelaide Crows AFL football clinic in Week 1. Twenty-two keen footballers attended the clinic at lunch time on Thursday and were inspired by the skills and warm character of Adelaide Crows player, Ebony Marinoff. Ebony helped the girls improve their marking, drop punt kicking and goal kicking skills. Thank you to Ebony and Madison for their coaching on the day and good luck to our female football players who are looking forward to putting their new skills to the test at the SACSA AFL carnival in Week 5 of this term.

In Vista this term we have teams entered in competition for Senior Girls & Boys Badminton, Junior Girls Netball and Junior Girls & Boys Soccer.

Once again, we would like to thank all students and staff who were involved in College Sport last term, and look forward to another exciting term ahead. Best of luck to all teams!

Our boys’ team had a very successful day, winning 4 of the 5 games and finished equal second. The girls’ team came away with one win and a draw. All the players showed fantastic sportsmanship through their encouragement and willingness to learn and share new skills. A big thank you to our two coaches, Mr Pearse and Mr Herne.

Student Achievements

Endeavour College is blessed with many talented athletes, with much of their success often being achieved in their sporting clubs or associations outside of the College. We would like to hear from you if your child has excelled in their chosen sport as we will celebrate these achievements in future Anchor articles.
