Senior School

4/5P, 5/6L & 5/6H

It has been a busy and enjoyable two weeks in the Senior School. Here are some highlights of what we have been up to.

Buddies

Students in the Senior School were thrilled to catch up with their little buddies for the first time this year. With the weather being so lovely we popped on our hats and decorated the asphalt with all the colours of the rainbow (or at least the colours of a chalk bucket).

Junior School Council

Congratulations to the students nominated to represent their classes on this years Junior School Council. There were many students who spoke to their class to put their names forward for consideration. Well done to all those who were involved in the process, our student voice at Ballan primary is certainly in good hands. The following students were elected for their class and will meet regularly throughout the year to work  to improve aspects of the school important to students.

Teddy Bears Picnic

On Friday 11th February we welcomed all fuzzy creatures great and small to join us for a picnic lunch in the sunshine. It was fantastic to see so many of our Senior School students sharing a chat and a laugh with their friends from across the school.

Students of the Week

Each week students are recognised for displaying the School Wide Positive Behaviours at school with the Student of the Week awards. These are awarded to one student from each classroom as well as each specialist. Congratulations to the following students on their awards this past fortnight.
