Under 11's

We welcomed Holly Lewis to the Under 11's team this week. The Under 11's played Tarrington Yellow and won 10 to 5. It was fantastic to see so much improvement in the Under 11's team following last week. Lexi and Emma Thomas upped the intensity on the court with their determination - when both girls had their eyes on the ball, there was nothing stopping them! Noah Weilbaecher showed huge improvements with both his defending and is to be congratulated on his efforts practising at school lunch times. Holly Lewis and Thomas Hurley worked fantastically together in the goal ring which is evident within the score. Mietta Price was an asset to the team with her presence around the goal ring - she did a great job around the ring working the ball into the goalies and ensuring she was there if they needed her.

All members of the team listened to feedback and adjusted their play accordingly. Many team members asked further questions seeking extra feedback to assist them with their understanding of both the rules and game play. Well done to the Under 11's for their persistence and enthusiasm. Again, thank you to our umpire, Tayla, who was very supportive of the players and provided guidance and explanation when making calls.

Under 13's

We welcomed Holly Quinn and Holly Lewis to the Under 13's team this week. The Under 13's played against Baimbridge College. It was a tougher game for them this week being defeated 10 to 5 however the team demonstrated great teamwork and gave it their all. It was Holly Quinn's first game of netball and she did a great job. The other team members were very supportive and showed her where she needs to be and what she needs to do. Holly Lewis and Lexi Thomas looked as though they still had lots of energy despite already having played a full game in Under 11's the game before! Mae Northam showed a lot of improvement this week and she was so much more confident on the court - Well done Mae! Well done to Talia and Fletcher Price who dominated in defence. Talia and Fletcher worked incredibly well together and should be proud of their efforts against such a strong team. Great job to all members of the team for their determination and positive attitudes. Thank you to our umpire, Jessie, who was also very supportive of the players and provided guidance and explanation when making calls.
