We have had lots of really positive progress chats with students which have prompted discussion around how we can support our students in the future.

Students in the Senior Hub have access to a Chill Out session with our School Nurse Sophie and Charlie dog every Friday during lunch.  It is a great opportunity to escape from the stress of study.  Student's always love a visit from Charlie Brown.

Celebrating Academic Achievement

Last year, we had 11 students who achieved a study score of over 40 (out of a possible 50) in VCE Unit 3 and 4 subjects. Seven of those students were in Year 11.

On Tuesday, we celebrated the achievements of the following students:

  • Leah Kynoch, Ruby Kearsley and Emma Holmes (all receiving 40+ in Psychology)
  • Rebecca Stevens (Further Maths)
  • Paige Tarling (Outdoor Education)
  • James Caddie (Music)
  • Charlie Flynn – who achieved a perfect score of 50 in Legal Studies, one of only 15 students across the state to do so!

 Business Management Year 11 Excursion

On the 7th on March VCE Business Management 1&2 went on a walk to Peter Dullard Ford to understand how the business runs. We learnt about the competitors to Dullard Ford, what is most important to them and why, and how they were affected by COVID-19. Dullard Ford focuses on treating their customers and employees with respect and loyalty to keep customers coming back, and to keep their great staff. The students learnt a lot and got very wet shoes from the experience. Chloe Jennison
