Swing Band Success at Music Festival

It was great to see the Swing Band back out in the community doing what they do best, performing to people. They performed twice as part of the Paynesville Music Festival, once at the Golf Club on the Friday night and then again in the Paynesville Community Centre on Saturday morning. A huge congratulations to the band and thank you to James Newman (band Director), John Smith, Kees Dogger, Chelsea De Bona and Page Gilhooly for their work with the band.

Music Student Leadership

The Music Department is pleased to announce our two Music Captains for 2022 are James Caddie and Rebecca Stephens. 

It was a difficult decision to make because this year we have a number of extremely competent and dedicated Year 11 and 12 students. Thank you to all applicants.

We will be announcing ensemble leaders very soon.

Administration

There are still some outstanding Participation Agreement forms. Could families please return them ASAP if they haven’t already done so.

There are still some places available for students to learn woodwind or brass instruments. Interested students should see Mrs Green in the music centre.
