Shrove Tuesday

On Tuesday 1st March, the children celebrated Shrove Tuesday by cooking pancakes for morning tea.

Ash Wednesday

Fr Thaddeus attended the school at 10:30 am on Wednesday the 2nd of March to distribute the Ash Wednesday ashes to the children and staff.

St Patrick's Day

St Patrick's Day is the feast of St Patrick, patron saint of Ireland. Patrick is remembered for converting many Irish people to Christianity, and establishing monasteries, churches and schools throughout Ireland. Many legends grew up around him, including driving snakes out of Ireland, and using shamrock to explain the Trinity. We wish our Parish of St Patrick's a very happy feast day!

We invite the children to wear or bring something green on Thursday to celebrate this special day. They are also encouraged to donate a gold coin that will be put into the Caritas box.

St Joseph's day

We will celebrate the Feast of St Joseph with a Mass at 9am on Friday 18th March. Parents and parishioners are very welcome to join us for this Mass. We will also have some fun games for Sport in the afternoon.

Dear God, Thank you for

St Joseph who loved and

cared for Jesus and Mary.

He shows us how to

listen to your call, to work

hard and to be faithful in

all things.

Please help me to be like

him; loving, faithful, hard

working and courageous.

St Joseph pray with us.

Amen.

Wishing you God's blessings for the fortnight ahead.
