Our students have been offered the opportunity to join the Multiplex delivery team on a city-changing project – the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport Terminal and Specialty Services, connecting Western Sydney to the world. The 12month curriculum is made up of six interactive discipline-based workshops, panel discussions with industry leaders, site walks and mentoring sessions. Throughout these workshops they will receive:
- Personal development
- Broadening knowledge of the built environment
- Connecting with industry professionals and like- minded students
- One-on-one mentoring
- Membership of the Jump Start program alumni
- A direct pathway to Multiplex’s Work Experience Program and the Graduate Assessment Centre.
On Wednesday 23rd March our young women attended their first workshop, broadening their knowledge of the built environment delivered by the Multiplex team at their site at the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.
The Multiplex room was buzzing with excitement and curiosity. The activities and information delivered by the Multiplex team was incredibly engaging.
A massive thanks to our fantastic Multiplex team and we are looking forward to an amazing long-term partnership.

This program encourages our students to strive for their personal best and to see tertiary study as a realistic and viable post-school option. Students will participate in a four year program to further strengthen their career aspirations, goal setting and potential to transition into university. They will have the opportunity to attend university taster sessions and participate in workshops, including a session to help them discover their strengths and the opportunity to meet Western Sydney University students who will give students an insight into life as a university student by sharing their knowledge and experience.
