In Geography last week, the Green Class (literally) got their hands dirty as they explored various landforms and water bodies in class!
Using sand, some blue paint, tape, and a piece of paper, the Green Class were able to proudly demonstrate what they have learnt so far by creating 3D models of the Nile River and the deserts around it. As a bonus, they even featured the pyramids in their model!
The Purple Class have been learning about living things in science. One of their experiments involved investigating how mung beans grew in different environments over the course of four weeks. As such, the Purple Class had the opportunity to plant and replant mung beans seeds in soil and cotton, in the dark and with sunlight, as well as with and without water.
The Purple Class consolidated their knowledge through each stage of their experiment by taking part in joint reflection activities after every lesson. During their reflection time, Purple Class recorded changes in their plants and discussed why those changes happened.
