What will I learn?
- Design practice and processes

- Designers and their approach to design problems

Learning activities may include:
- Attending a symposium with designer talks and workshops at UTAS
- Working at school on the design and development of an object that addresses the design brief
- Technical instruction and mentoring from a university mentor to support the design and making of your design response
- Exhibiting work in a public exhibition
- Producing a journal reflecting your design development
- Writing a designer’s statement about your work
As Object Design enrolments begin partway through Term 2, all students wishing to participate must enrol in Design and Production, Media Production (Video) Level 3 or Computer Graphics & Design Level 3 before eventually transferring to Object Design.
Important Note: Students may only study Object Design once over Year 11/12.
