Year 5 and 6 Animation

Year 5 and 6 students are currently learning digital drawing skills. They are designing their own sprites and creating original animation projects.

Students are developing their ICT skills as they duplicate and edit their work, creating various images for their animated stories. They are using decimal fractions to manipulate the timing of their animation, and applying the logic of loops in their code. It's fantastic to see that each child's animation reflects their individual interests and personal style. 

Well done to Xinyan 5B, Raphael 5B, Cyla 5C, Mila 5D and Dima 5E for their unique animated projects!

Junior Coding Club

A lunchtime Coding Club will now be available for Prep to Year 3 students on Timetable A. This will run on Tuesdays, from 1pm to 1:30pm, for the remainder of Semester 1. We will be focusing on using Scratch Jr to code all kinds of games and projects. Students can bring their own iPad. A limited number of school iPads will also be available for loan during the half hour sessions. Be sure to be on time as places will be capped at 20 students.
