General discussion-

  • Quiet area - **Grace and Douglas will make posters for the quiet play area outside the 3/4area. Anyone else can also make a poster.

Posters will be shared with all classes by SRC and displayed in the area.

Can we add another table to the area for students that would like to draw/play a game?

  • Playing in toilets- this is not ok - hygiene and privacy - if you see/know who the students are remind them this is not where we play.

Share at class SRC that it is School policy  that 2 students go to the toilet during class time - however it is not a time to be silly and make a lot of noise. Mrs Boffa has been interrupted by the noise.

**Need posters to remind students to wash hands and keep toilets clean- especially flushing

Reminders:

  • Icy poles sold every Tuesday - $1 outside 3/4 area.

Remind students to keep the area clean - including the sticks to go in bins

  • Nude Food day is every Thursday - please remind your class to participate.
  • Recycling
  • Ride 2 school day - Friday 25 March- SRC and House Leaders will support the Sustainability leaders-  stickers and fruit- take some photos
  • Caught being Good - remind teachers to do some as well -

What can we improve on this week:

                       Actions
Playing in the toilets

Hide and seek - not ok - call out the students and explain why.

Wasting paper and making a mess- not ok -

Posters for washing hands for each class

Playing fairly

Remind that everyone wants to play and have fun.

The soccer game should be competitive however everyone needs to play by the same rules- not everyone has the skills of the senior players so we need to respect each other.

We love that there are lots of games and fun and we want everyone to enjoy being outside together.

Preps - juniors

Playing in the middle of the soccer field and getting hurt -

Abi and Oscar to talk about this at class SRC

SRC Representative ACTIONS for this week

School Leaders and SRC  will be looking out for students ‘Caught Being Good’.

They will  be nominating students who are responsible, respectful and ready to learn.

Discuss what these qualities look like.

Respectful - listening, waiting turn, walking through corridor quietly, greeting/speaking to people politely

Responsible - throwing rubbish in the bin, picking up rubbish, returning sports equipment, helping others, kindness

Ready to Learn - listening to the speaker, having materials ready for learning, being on time in class or at school.
