Student Representative Council
Our ECSC Student Representative Council have been busy thinking of ways they can support and represent their peers. At the end of last term, the team surveyed students to gain a better understanding of the thoughts and feelings of our students. The survey results were positive and gave our team an opportunity to look at what they could do this year to support positivity and engagement at ECSC.
After many weeks of discussions and group work, students were able to narrow their brainstorming ideas into 10 events. This week, students had the opportunity to pitch and present their ideas to our principal, Jo. Although this was somewhat a daunting experience for some, it allowed our team to share our work with Jo and allowed an outside perspective to the ideas. At the end of the pitch, students were feeling positive and supported in their proposed school events.
Up next, our team will create a calendar of events for the rest of the year with details on what exciting events will happen soon.

Why did you want to be a SRC Leader this year? I wanted to try something different and make our school a fun and exciting place

What do you enjoy most about ECSC? Hanging out with my friends and making it a fun and safe place.
Why did you want to be a SRC Leader this year? To make the school a more enjoyable and comfortable place.
What are you looking forward in doing this year? Getting to organise events
Favourite Book? A series of unfortunate events... book and TV Show (which is beyond amazing!) Favourite Food? Chocolate and Iced Coffee!
What do you enjoy most about ECSC? The amount of friendly students and teachers is just WOW!
Why did you want to be a SRC Leader this year? I want to share my creativity with my peers and make ECSC a better place for everyone.
