Attendance Notifications 

Daily school attendance is import for all children and young people to succeed in education and to ensure they don't fall behind both socially and developmentally. It is extremely important that you notify the school when your child is running late, or is unable to attend school for any reason.

We have set up some processes through Compass to notify families regularly if students are late or not present at school.

Daily: Every morning around 9:30am you will receive a SMS if you child has been marked not present in session one with no explanation.  

Weekly: Every week we will be sending an email with a list of student unexplained late and absence entries, these need to be explained as soon as possible.

It is extremely important to make sure we have updated information for student attendance. 

Please see below the different ways you can inform us of attendance; 

1. Log onto Compass and log the attendance note (see school website for step by step instructions)
2. Call (03) 9134 8200 and dial 1, with your Childs name and home group, and absence reason.
3. Txt 0400 124 232 with your child's full name, home group and reason for absence.
4. Email edgars.creek.sc@edumail.vic.gov.au with your child’s full name and home group, and absence reason.
