PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

From the Principal

Dear Parents and Community Members,

The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) do a terrific job in supporting the school. Every year, they volunteer their time to raise money for the school, which enables us to purchase items to enhance and improve the learning experiences your children receive.

I would like to publicly acknowledge and thank them for all their hard work, and to encourage any parent who is interested in engaging more deeply in the life of their child’s school, to get involved.

This year alone, the PFA have funded the following items within the school:

• 3 Yamaha French Horns
• 20 Music Stands
• MBOT (robot) Class Set materials
• Emblaser2/Laser Cutter
• Vaquform, all in one 3D printer, scanner and engraver
• Drama Props & Costumes
• Drone
• Acoustic Guitar
• Trolleys for the food technology room

This generous funding has, among other things, enabled us to expand our music program, give students the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in cutting edge machinery, and use drone technology in the study of Humanities.
