Climate Strike!

Representatives from our Environment Team, along with a number of other BSC students and teachers, attended the Schools’ Climate Strike in Melbourne on the last day of term.

The attendance was phenomenal at the Melbourne strike: around 150,000 people congregated around Parliament House and Treasury Gardens, which made it very difficult to move at times! The crowd consisted mainly of young people, with both primary and secondary school students represented.

It was heart-warming to witness the number of people who were willing to take action in order to have their voices’ heard on this crisis, and I was really proud to be part of the BSC cohort who participated.
