2019 Freedom Ride

2019 Freedom Ride Fundraiser
The Freedom Ride is an annual charity event that assists in raising funds for Pathways Tasmania and their many initiatives which aim to empower young men to live free of addiction, homelessness and associated issues. This year the ride was held at New Norfolk on Saturday 30 March, 2019 with over $27,000 raised by some 50 riders and their friendship circle.
Just under 2 dozen riders (including a resident of our Velocity Transformations rehab) traversed a 100km route from Tynwald Park, New Norfolk, and headed through to Hamilton, Lake Meadowbank, Ellendale and then will returned to Tynwald Park.
For the mere mortals amongst us, along with several residents of our Velocity Transformations rehab, a 20km route departed from Tynwald Park to the nearby village of Lachlan turning around at the bridge 2 km past the township and then headed back to finish at Tynwald Park in joyous victory.
Pathways wishes to humbly thank the many riders, their supporters, and our wonderful corporate partners for their invaluable support!
In 2020 we will be re-launching the Freedom Ride bigger and better to coincide with our annual Break the Cycle ride. Stay tuned.
