Wellbeing From Home

I sincerely hope that all families are adjusting to their working and learning at home routine. I know this big change in everyone’s household can be a challenge. Change and the 'new normal' effects everyone differently. It is important that we take some time out each day to focus on our Wellbeing as well as the Wellbeing of our young people at home.

I know a part of our family who would be loving having the family and children around more and that is our pets!  So why not reward them with an extra pat, tummy rub, brush of the fur, treat etc.

Taking time out will look different in every household. Time out may be going outside to jump on the trampoline, taking a moment to do some colouring in, going for a walk around the block, taking some time to play a board game as a family, or doing some mindfulness or meditation. Whatever it looks like in your house it is important that everyone takes the time to stop and breathe!

Below are some websites you could use to take some time out from your day. Some of these may even pop up in your child's home learning grid:

I look forward to when we are all back together again at COHR. Until then take care, remain mindful, show kindness and take some time to breathe.   If you would like to send some photos of you working at home ( no head / face shots), send them to Miss Faella and we may share some of them on our school instagram page.     efaella@cohroakeast.catholic.edu.au
