OUR FAITH

PRAYER

Living God, We are called to remember  all those who lost their lives in the course of wars, the horror they endured, the determination they displayed to defend the values we hold so dear and the sacrifices they made so that we may enjoy lasting peace. Lord in your Mercy, hear our prayer.

We pray ...

for the Thomas Family (Angus 6O, Xavier 2H and Finnian Kinder 2019) on the sad passing of their very much loved grandfather, for Mr West who is recovering from illness in hospital.

FAMILY MASSES - TERM 4

Our next Family Mass and last for Term 4 is Sunday, 2nd December (1st Sunday of Advent; Year 3 to host) at St Nicholas Church commencing at 9.30 am. Please mark this date in your diaries and join us as it is a chance to gather together as a community to celebrate.

A big thank you to everyone who attended Family Mass last Sunday.  A great turnout and a magnificent day.  Thank you also to the families of Year 2 and Year 4 students for supplying a scrumptious morning tea. A big shout out and thank you our altar servers and to the boys who also volunteered to read at Mass.

INFANTS' LITURGY

The next Infants'  Liturgy will be held Wednesday 28th November at St Nicholas Church beginning at 9.30am.

FEAST OF ST NICHOLAS

End of Year Mass

This year the Feast Day of St Nicholas is on Thursday, 6th December. We will be celebrating this feast day and the End of the Year with a Mass. This Mass will be a Whole School Mass at St Nicholas School Undercroft beginning at 9.30am. All students are to be dressed in full summer uniform.  All parents, family members and friends are welcome to attend. At this Mass we will also acknowledge and farewell Mr V and our Year 6 students.

CRAZY CHRISTMAS JOY

On Friday, 30th November 2018, the members of Mini Vinnies are asking students to wear Christmas themed mufti or have a 'crazy' hair style to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal.  Gold coin donation - closed in shoes - hat - no coloured hairsprays or face painting. Please think creatively and use what you already have at home as no extra expense is necessary. It might be a Christmas shirt, a green or red shirt, Christmas socks, tinsel in your hair, bells on your hat.
