Book Fair arriving very soon!!

(4th to 14th November 2019)

Why should we purchase books from our Book Fair??

The fair helps our school stock up on resources to enrich our children's minds. With your support we receive a percentage from the total sales which will contribute towards new books in our library. Purchasing can be made either online www.scholastic.com.au/payment, sending money in an envelope with the child's name and class clearly marked on the front OR come in take a look and purchase with cash or card.

Mon 4th to 8th Nov purchasing from 1:00 to 1:45pm and 3:00pm to 4:15pm

Mon 11th to 14th Nov purchasing at lunch times only.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

No Hat No Play

As per our sun and heat protection Policy (please see here), the No Hat No Play rule has begun again.

All students are now required to wear a hat whilst outside eg. yard play, physical vibe and school excursions.   If a child is not wearing a hat they will be required to be in an undercover area.  Hats are available for purchase via the Sports Uniform order form.  The next order will be placed early Term 4.  Please see the office to place an order.  Non-school hats will be accepted for a short while in allowance for the purchase of the school required hat.

Envision Hands

Thank you to everyone who has been collecting bottle tops to help Envision Hands, we have had an overwhelming response which is wonderful.

We have been given a few tips to follow:

  • We can only use flat top bottle caps with a grade 2 or 4 plastic. So, any with a ‘2’ or ‘4’ on the actual cap (not the bottle) will be fine! The number must be stand alone, not within a code. This will generally include soft drink, water and milk bottle caps. To see if the cap is usable, you can look at the numbers located on the underside of the cap. Any caps without numbers will be unusable as we have no way of knowing what grade plastic they are.
  • We also ask that the caps are please rinsed before they are donated and that no extra plastic, metal or other material is attached.
  • We also cannot accept any larger lids, such as those found on Vegemite or peanut butter jars as they are too difficult to process.

PLEASE ENSURE ALL BOTTLE LIDS ARE WASHED BEFORE SENDING TO SCHOOL.
