Transition to Secondary School

Dear Parents,

Unfortunately staff at CSPS are unable to support year six children's transition to secondary school with a reference. As you may appreciate, our staff are often inundated with requests and refusal may offend.

World Wildlife Day

I hope everyone has had the chance to see our wonderful mural celebrating World Wildlife Day. Thank you to all the students for creating such wonderful art work, the Sustainability and Environment Team for cutting out all the animals, the art leaders for putting the mural together and especially Mrs Clements who has worked tirelessly to oversee the project.

The United Nations World Wildlife Day is a global celebration of the beautiful and richly diverse forms of wild animals and plants on our planet. It is also an occasion to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits they provide to people and to drive discussions and work towards transformative change on the urgent threats facing them.

The Patch

Well it's still all beans in the garden! These little plants have such a high yield and are very easy to grow. A punnet of beans only costs $5 and can be planted in pots, making them the ideal vegetable for any home. We picked another couple of passionfruit and although they are tasty, they don't have a lot of fruit inside. This may be because the tree is only young, I am not sure as I haven't had much experience with passionfruit. If you can shed some light on this please let me know!
