Some Happy Snaps of our Fortnight

Sewing Club

Students who have been attending Sewing Club this fortnight have been super busy making scrunchies to sell at the Fete and for the JSC bushfire appeal as well as creating handbags and individual sewing projects. During sewing club our students learn a range of skills including hand sewing techniques, learning how to use the sewing machine, sewing straight and curved lines as well as hand sewing buttons and the like for individual sewing projects.

We look forward to showcasing their work over the coming months!

Homework Club

We offer Homework Club every afternoon where children have an opportunity to do their homework in a quite space away from all the noise. We have an educator who is available to help students during this time.  If you are interested in joining up please send Kelly an email or speak with Kelly, Amanda or Tamara next time you come in.

Curriculum Day - 6 March 2020

Just a reminder that next Friday (6 March) is a Curriculum Day. If you require care on this day and haven't already done so, please email Kelly   to book in.

OSHC JSC Bush Fire Appeal

Dear Parents,

Your JSC for OSHC have put together a bushfire appeal. You are welcome to donate to it or you can buy some scrunchies, chocolate balls or friendship bracelets. All money raised will go to the Australian Red Cross bushfire appeal.

We will be holding a stall on Wednesday afternoons for the next few weeks and if you buy something from our stall, we are asking for a gold coin donation.

Thank you very much from your JSC.

Another Generous Donation

OSHC would like to say a huge thank you to Bernadette Gooda who once again made it feel like Christmas with all the donations she dropped to us last week.

The students are having an absolute ball with all the toys and we appreciate her generosity so much!!"

Absences

It is really important that you let us know prior to the session if your child will not be attending after school care. Unfortunately, we spend a lot of time chasing up absences after school and this is taking away time from other activities. You can let us know of an absence by calling the mobile number 0484 916 457 or by emailing.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Quote of the fortnight

Feedback

As always, we welcome feedback about any aspect of the program. Please feel free to come in and have a chat with Kelly, Tamara or Amanda, send us an email or leave a note in the Feedback box on the sign-in table.

We welcome your input!
