Describing Art - Prep

Last week Lachlan G (PB), described to Mrs Duffy in great detail what he was creating. "I’m painting a butter sculpture. They get the butter from Yaks and they mix colour in like play dough and they stick it together to make butter sculptures.”

Teacher to Class – “How does the dough for making the butter sculptures get coloured?”

Creative Prep Student Response – “The yaks come in different colours, so the milk comes in these colours.”

These students will now participate in The Art Installation Program (2 hours per week commencing today!) to create two large murals for the school grounds, inspired by flag design.
