Sailing

Earlier this year Mordialloc Sailing Club offered two Mordialloc College students the opportunity of  free sailing lessons.  Laura Reeve (Yr. 8) and Zion Martheze (Yr. 9)  took up the offer and were given the opportunity to participate in the Dinghy Sail Training Program.  Each Saturday this term, Laura and Zion learnt the components of the boat, how to tack, how to generate speed with wind and how easy it is to capsize their boat.

Both Laura and Zion enjoyed their sailing experience and plan to continue lessons. 

A special thank you to Mordialloc Sailing Club for offering this opportunity to our students and their continued support of our school community.
