Art

We would like to welcome our Prep - Grade 3  students for Semester 2 into the Art Room and look forward to them creating items for our Castle Kingdom Art Show which will be held early in Term 4.  These students will be working on clay, construction, collage and painted activities.

Our senior grades will be working on larger structural 3D pieces, including wrought iron candelabras, dragon eyes and helmets.

A mix of senior students have created a set of Fairy Garden items, including mushrooms, bird houses, echidnas, birds, ladybugs and bird baths.  These have been made for each of our Grade 1 classes to take outside to use for imaginary play.  These were created with left over clay, highlighting the importance of sustainable and minimal waste.

Our Extended Art class have now completed many of the extra large items for the Art Show.  This selected group of Grade 6s are now moving on to working on the Art-Inspired ceiling panels to be displayed on the ceiling of the Art Room.
