Whole School (1 of 2)

Celebration Service
Most of you would have recieved a flyer in the mail regarding a Celebration Service on Saturday, February 21. This is a great way to celebrate the beginning of the School Year with prayer and thanksgiving, as well as a time for our School families to join together in a social setting.
We encourage you all to join us in the MPH at 5pm for an engaging service, with dinner served afterwards.
Invitation to Worship
Every second Thursday morning, beginning this week (today), the staff of BHCS will join together in worship & prayer.
We would like to make an open invitation to anyone who is able and would like to, to join with us in the Restaurant from 8:20am - 8:40am. We value the opportunity to continue to build relationships with the parent community and see this as a wonderful way to do so in 2015. (If there are students who would also like to join us they are more than welcome)
The dates we will be meeting in Term 1 will be Thursday 19th February, Thursday 5th March and Thursday 19th March.
We hope to see you there.
Beauty and the Beast 2015
Rehearsals are now up and running. Cast, don't forget to check your rehearsal schedule for when you are needed. All information is on the Moodle page 'Musical 2015', if you have misplaced your cast booklet. Music rehearsals will be in the V building, and dance/choreography in the MPH.
Also, if there are any parents or students not involved in rehearsals who are interested in helping Mr Kenny build and paint sets and props, please email him at kwong@bhcs.vic.edu.au - he would LOVE your help!

Medical Forms
Medical Forms were sent home to all families in
Term 4 of 2014 and should have already been
returned. (This includes completed forms, action plans, medication registers and doctors' letters.) If you have not yet returned this, please do so WITHOUT DELAY or your child may be excluded from participating in upcoming excursions. If you are a new family to the school and do not appear to have received a form for your child, please contact Reception and someone will organise for one to be given to you.
Whooping Cough and Other Conditions
A case of Whooping Cough has been reported in the Middle School year levels during the school holidays. We would like to encourage all parents to seek their GP's advice regarding immunisations. It is important that you do not send your child to School if they are unwell. The link below outlines the exclusion periods for infectious conditions in Schools.

13th March - All Year 7s and 10s
29th May - All Year 7s and 9s
10th September - All Year 7s and 8s
Parents are reminded that immunisations are voluntary and we encourage you to seek the advice or ask questions of your GP before having their children immunised.
Before and After School Care
FOR PARENTS OF KINDER AND PRIMARY STUDENTS (PREP TO YR 6)
Belgrave Heights Christian School is investigating the possibility of implementing a Before and After School Program to be run at the School by Camp Australia.
Please see the attached information from Camp Australia and click on the link to complete a short survey. We would request all Kinder and Primary parents complete the survey whether or not you are interested in using this service. This will help us determine the viability of implementing the program.
The survey will need to be completed no later than Monday 9th February.
If there is sufficient interest, would we be looking to commence this service later this year.
Congratulations - Baby Announcement
