National Tree Day
It’s that time of year again! Greater Shepparton City Council, One Tree Per Child and RiverConnect are once again hosting Planet Ark’s National Tree Day on Sunday 30th July at 10am. This year, the event will take place at 12 Seven Creeks Drive, in the bush reserve behind Seven Creeks Estate, Kialla.
There will be a free BBQ provided by the Shepparton Lions Club, activities, a coffee van onsite – ‘Mad About Coffee and Donuts’, free indigenous plant giveaways and, of course, tree planting.
We would love to see as many community members, along with their family and friends, attend to enjoy a fun and rewarding morning.
Activities in the Park
The Activities in the Park program is organising skating workshops delivered by former World Champion, Renton Millar.
‘Learn to Shred’ gives all keen skaters an opportunity to learn from a world legend. If you’ve never been skating before, this is also the perfect place to give it a go!
Registrations are now open to all members of the community. Book a spot with the links below
