Focus on Learning

Stage 1 has had a busy start to Term 3. They have welcomed their new class teacher Mrs Crane.

We have been focusing on multiplication and forming groups in Mathematics rotations.

In English we have been focusing on Persuasive texts using the Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and describing characters using Pearl Barley and Charlie Parsley.

We have been getting ready for Book Week by putting together a display in the library.  

We are looking forward to attending Mass on Tuesday to celebrate the Solemnity of St Mary of the Cross . 

Coolamon Challenge - Week 4

Congratulations to our winners from Week 3 - Shivansh & Ryder!  They received a voucher for a complimentary ice-cream courtesy of The Coolamon in Quirindi. 

This week's challenges are number patterns.  Entries are due by Friday morning. 

Nature Ninjas - our gardening club

A big THANK YOU to all of our students who volunteered in the garden last week as part of our Nature Ninjas.  The students helped pick produce, and prune some of the vegetables ready for new early spring growth.  This week, our groups will swap and we will have new volunteers in the garden. We will be harvesting mature produce and planting new seedlings, as well as preparing the soil for spring plantings.
