A Message from the Principal

School Improvements

At St Joey’s we strive to continually improve our school. We recently bought new play equipment for passive play in the library during lunch times. As you can see from the photos below the students are enjoying the farm and car sets.

Principal’s Conference

I will be away for the next three days at our Diocesan Principal’s Conference along with all the principals in our diocese. These meetings are important to engage in professional dialogue with colleagues and to learn from guest speakers. Sarah-Jane Canham will be acting principal in my absence. 

PT & F

We have a wonderful PT & F committee who work tirelessly for the benefit of all the students in our school community. Currently they are looking for a Treasurer. Mrs Klitsch, our school finance officer, has offered to help the volunteer to this position to set up a simple system to keep track of the money coming in and going out. You do not need previous experience. There are two major fundraisers to come this year (the colour run and the Cherry fundraiser). I encourage our parents to think carefully about taking on this position.
