It was lovely to see so many of you coming in for Student Support Group meetings last week. We really value our partnerships with parents/carers and families as we know that working together supports our students to have a successful and happy school experience. Thank you for your commitment to your children and support for our school!
Just a reminder to keep children home when they are unwell. We have had a number of unwell students and staff over the past few weeks including cold, flu and gastro symptoms. This impacts on everyone as staff become unwell and we are still experiencing some difficulties replacing staff. If your child has had diarrhoea or vomiting, they need to be excluded from the swimming program for at least 48 hours. This is part of the council regulations for the operation of our swimming pool. Please let your child's teacher know if they are not able to swim.
We have had some students with head lice over the past couple of weeks. Just a reminder that if your child has head lice, you need to treat this before they return to school. There is more information in our Notices and Flyers section of the newsletter.
The new speed limit in our school driveway is 5km/hour. Please make sure you drive slowly and keep to the speed limit to make sure all of our students, families and staff stay safe.
You will notice some new signs (being installed soon) in the driveway and car park to help everyone know which way to go. Please let us know if you have any ideas for increasing safety during our busy before and after school times.
