It was great to have many parents and carers meet with classroom teachers for SSG meetings last week to reflect on semester one IEP goals and celebrate the progress made. Teachers are now focused on extending students further through their semester 2 goals.
We hope you have enjoyed sharing your child's educational growth with your child, family and friends. You should be proud of the work and effort your child has demonstrated to achieve success over the first semester.
Students thoroughly enjoyed the Hoodie and Dance Party day this week, dancing along to, 'YMCA', 'Macarena', 'Gangnam Style', and 'Cha Cha Slide'. Thank you to the Student School Council and Engagement PLT for organise this fun activity.
Next week we join in the nation celebration of Book Week; see our teaching and Learning page to read more about this.
Footy Colours Day is on Wednesday 13 September, (last week of term 3). Our student leaders and Engagement Professional Learning Team are currently planning various football themed activities for this day.
We would really like our families to join us for some fun footy themed activities on this day. Please save the date!
It's hard to believe that we have started preparing for 2024 already. We have been conducting school tours for families looking to enrol their child in foundation next year at CSDS. We are in the process of confirming our student enrolments to identify the number of classes we will have and commence workforce planning.
If you know of a family interested in enrolling their child at CSDS in 2024, please encourage them to make contact with us this term.
