Planning for 2024
Planning for 2024 is well underway. If your child is not returning for the 2024 academic year, please complete the attached Google Form.
School Fees
Our school is in the process of transitioning to a new financial accounting system. The new system has added functionality in which you can make payments to the school via Bpay, CompassPay, EFTPOS and Direct Debits. As part of the process our current school bank account will be closing soon and therefore we will be asking parents to make payments to the school via one of these new functionalities.
In early September you will receive your new Fee Statement. Included on this will be your new Bpay payment details. You can easily set up regular payments directly from your bank account to the new school Bpay account, and Bpay is our schools preferred method of payment for School Fees.
Via the Compass App, you can also make payments for School Fees and Events. Please contact the School if you require assistance with the Compass App.
Our School will also continue to offer EFTPOS facilities. This means you will be able to make payments or purchases over the counter at the School rather than relying on cash.
NBN School Student Broadband Initiative (SSBI)
The Australian Government has established the SSBI to provide up to 30,000 unconnected households with students in school (K-12) across all states and territories with free National Broadband Network (nbn) access for a year. Depending on where the family lives, the program will provide 50 megabits per second (Mbps) fixed line services, Fixed-Wireless Plus, and Sky Muster Plus services with large or unlimited data caps. The SSBI is an affordable solution to bridge the digital divide and expand educational opportunities for students who do not have home internet access.
To be eligible for SSBI, families must:
- Have a child living at home that is enrolled in an Australian school in 2023.
- Not have an active nbn® network internet service at home. Having a mobile internet service does not affect eligibility.
- Be referred by a nominating organisation. This will include consideration of whether the child has access to a device and the digital skills to use the internet safely.
If you would like to nominate please email Mark.Coulton.MP@aph.gov.au with the below information:
- Student's name and school
- Name of the primary contact point for the family
- Home address (where the connection will be installed. This will also be used to confirm eligibility)
- Contact information (preferably email and mobile number)
For more information on SSBI, please see the attached flyers on the nomination process, e-Safety, and frequently asked questions. You can also visit the nbn website here and the website of the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, and the Arts website here.
Please do not hesitate to email me or phone the Moree office on (02) 67511 251 and speak to Leah if you have concerns or require further assistance.
Head lice has been reported to the school.
Children must not attend school if lice or nit eggs are present in their hair. It is advisable that parents regularly check their children’s hair and report any infestation to the school.
Once head lice has been treated children can then return to school.
