Year 7 Boys Cricket

Beaumaris’ Year 7 boys first inter-school preliminary final against the new kids on the block Prahran was a raging success for our boys who batted first making an excellent 4/120 off their 20 overs and then bowled their opponents out for 47.

The boys were treated to an MCG-like experience with the MCC grounds staff preparing an excellent turf wicket and even hooking up the big scoreboard that kept score and even lit up with the flaming number 4 when players hit a boundary.

The game was played in an excellent spirit and our team looks forward to the divisional championships on Tuesday 19 March.
