Principal's Chat

As the 2019 school year comes to an end I took time to stop & reflect on all that we have done & achieved as a school community this year. No wonder we are all tired & are ready for a well earned rest.
Last Monday night we gathered to honour, celebrate & farewell our 2019, Year 6 graduating class.
It doesn’t seem that long ago they first commenced their learning journey here at OLSC. We have watched them grow in so many ways – physically, socially, cognitively, emotionally and spiritually.
We encourage them to enjoy the next step in their learning journey and embrace it with the same commitment and passion they showed at OLSC. They will always be an important part of the OLSC family, we wish them every success and look forward to seeing their names in lights as they walk their various paths and follow their dreams.

Thank you
This week we sadly farewelled two parents from our P&F team. Jodie & Rebecca have been a part of the P&F since the school opened in 2010. They have worked tirelessly for the benefit of our school community. I would like to publicly thank Jodie & Rebecca for all they have done over the last 10 years at OLSC. You will definitely be missed.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
I would like to sincerely thank all of the students, parents and staff at OLSC for the tremendous encouragement & support that has been given to me personally over the last 6 months. OLSC is a very special community & I feel very lucky to be a part of it & to work with you all every day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I couldn't have done the last 6 months without you there every step of the way. I wish you all a very happy & holy Christmas shared with family & friends and a restful break. I look froward to the next part of our journey at OLSC in 2020.
Cheers
Sandy
