This week students in Year 4 have been writing narratives using various writing prompts. We are practising following a story graph to ensure we include a great start, some interesting problems and an exciting ending in our stories. We will then be publishing them using our new netbooks.

Our new netbooks have been very exciting - we are starting to use some online resources such as studyladder, prodigy and epic and have practised creating sticky notes on our desktops to keep all our login details together. We are also using our netbooks to keep a spreadsheet of our spelling words so we can practise them at home.

Even though we have had to make some changes to our daily routines and have had to miss out on our French excursion, we are keeping our spirits high and making sure we express gratitude for the things we do have.  This great spirit was on display at the whole school cross country event this week where we all tried our best and cheered each other on.
