Indigenous garden finally complete

Informative signs were finally installed in the indigenous garden at the Woodend Community Children’s Garden this week.  With help from parent, Rob, the Environment Leaders erected the signs and learnt some native plant names and information along the way.

After the signs went in, we had fun designing reptile hotels (aka garden skink habitat) and making the garden look a little more bush-like with some ‘carefully placed’ rocks and logs. Great job team!

Just like a mini-botanic garden, everyone is free to visit the indigenous garden and learn about some of the interesting native plants that naturally grow in our region.
