Australian Synchrotron Open Day 2022

With new beamlines, more incredible research outcomes and thousands of amazing users, there are light years ahead for the Australian Synchrotron. The 2022 Open Day is a wonderful opportunity to provide you with an update on the work performed by all staff at the Synchrotron at our world-class facility. From human cells to paintings or fossils to advanced electronic devices, the work done at the Australian Synchrotron is helping to build a brighter future for all Australians. Shine a bright light on an object and you can see it more clearly. Shine intensely bright synchrotron light and you can see objects in astonishing detail, right down to the smallest atoms!

There are a range of exciting tours, talks, workshops and STEM activities that are suitable for the entire family. Enough action to spend at least two hours with over 80 scientists involved.
