Principal's Report

Class of 2022

Today our class of 2022 celebrated their last formal day at Brentwood before their exams start on 26 October. The Year 12s had a pancake breakfast in the morning followed by time to sign white T Shirts and watch a video the group created. The final assembly was held in the hall with the students leaving through a guard of honour created by all their teachers. It was lovely to hear the students reflecting on what their Brentwood experience has given them. It takes a community to help our students grow and be 'future ready' so thank you to everyone for the part you have played in helping our Year 12's get to this point. We wish all of our Year 12 students well for their upcoming exams and know they will all do their best in what is their final assessments of their secondary schooling.

Fame – Junior School Production

Last week, we held our first Junior School Production with our junior students putting on Fame. Once again it is great to see our students back on the stage and our junior school students put on a magnificent production. Well done to all involved for the practice and hard work that everyone put into making this production such a great success.

Year 11 Central Australia Camp

During the last week of term 3 and the first week of the school holidays, 68 Year 11 students and 9 staff travelled from Melbourne to Darwin over 15 days for our Year 11 Central Australia trip. The students had an amazing time and represented the school with great pride. This was our second Central Australia trip this year after our Year 12 students completed their camp in the middle of the year, so a big thank you to all the staff on both trips for making them possible and allowing our students to once again experience the amazing country we live in.
