Semester Two Merit Assemblies

As the year draws to a close, we celebrated the achievements and successes of our students at Merrylands High School. One of the ways we did this was through our Semester Two Merit Assemblies where each teacher selects two students from each class in recognition of their safe, respectful learner behaviours. The Year Advisers of each year group also select three students to be awarded the Bronze, Silver and Gold Medallions. These students are exceptional role models and are acknowledged for their commitment to improvement. Congratulations to all our award winners!

Annual Academic and Sports Presentation

Our annual Academic and Sports Presentation was held in the last week of term. This is where we recognise and celebrate the hard-working students of our school who have achieved the top spot in each of the subjects for all year groups. While academic success is highly valued at Merrylands High School, it is just as important to acknowledge the successes of students outside the classroom and on the sporting fields. Therefore, we also present the awards for students who are recipients of sporting and dance awards.
