Futures

On Monday 19 September 2022, Grade 6 students, Robbiel Reyes, Logan Oates and Hamish Smith travelled with Mrs Hall to MacKillop College.  They joined in the Building Master Plan Visionary Workshop for students to be conducted by the Master Plan team of JAWS and K2LD Architects.  They examined:

• The design of spaces which promote and enable creativity, self-direction, critical thinking and inspired learning.
• A focus on sustainability through use of natural resources, considering building materials, consideration of green spaces and building structures that support sustainable practices.

It was an exciting opportunity for our school to be involved in and further strengthened the strong relationship between John Paul II and MacKillop College.
