New LNPS Principal

It has now been announced that the new Principal for Lockleys North Primary School is Tyson Grinham. Tyson has won the position for the next 5 and half years and will begin next term. He is currently Principal at Brompton Primary School and brings with him a strong understanding of student learning and high achievement together with knowledge and skills in using learning technologies. We welcome him to our school and wish him the best in his new role. Attached is a letter for the LNPS Community.

A Big Thankyou

to Belinda Adams who now steps back into her role as Deputy Principal for the rest of the year. We have all enjoyed working with Belinda as our Principal and have greatly appreciated her professionalism, collaborative approach and the value she places on each member of staff.

Farewell

Farewell to Sue Thompson who stepped into the Deputy Principal's role in Belinda's absence. We have all been very appreciative of Sue's efforts to support leadership, staff and the Lockleys North Community. It is with deep regret that we must say goodbye to Sue at the end of this term. We wish her the best of luck.

INVITATION TO YOU....           Whole School Assembly

Please come along on Wednesday the 2nd July at 9am for the end of term Whole School Assembly. It will be a celebration of the term and new Principal Tyson Grinham will be introduced and staff leaving farewelled. Hope you can make it!

URGENT  REMINDER......

Adults are not to use any student toilets while on the school grounds but can use the gym or office facilities. Thank you.

Fundraising News

Thankyou to the families that participated in the Kytons Winter Warmer fundraiser, to those that made the extra special effort asking your extended families and work colleagues we especially say a big Thankyou! We had amazing sales of over 420 items raising around $850 for the "Art Studio" project in the Fisher pergola.This has been the most successful Winter Warmer fundraiser Kytons have had this year. Items will be going home with your children today, we hope you enjoy their award winning produce.

Footsteps Disco

Tickets for the Footsteps Disco will be on sale in front of the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week at recess and lunch time. Tickets are $2:00 and students are asked to send their money to school in a named envelope to help the money get to the Student Forum Reps safely. Bring your tickets so you can go in a draw for a door prize! The theme is "a touch of flouro" so  wear your fancy, flouro disco clothes! The R-2 disco is from 5:30 - 6:30pm and Yr 3- 7 is from 6:45 - 8pm. Parents are invited to come into the disco ten minutes before the end of the session if they would like to see some of the disco dancers in action!
